At Laffies Gear, we want gift-giving to be simple, flexible, and convenient. Our Gift Cards allow your friends, family, or teammates to choose exactly what they want—from rackets and apparel to footwear and accessories. Please read the following policy to understand how our Gift Cards work.
Purchasing Gift Cards
- Gift Cards can be purchased directly on laffies.co.za or in-store.
- They are available in fixed amounts (e.g., R250, R500, R1,000) or as custom values where specified.
- Gift Cards are delivered electronically via email with a unique code. Physical cards may also be available in-store.
- Gift Cards are activated upon successful payment.
Using Your Gift Card
- To redeem a Gift Card online, enter the unique code at checkout.
- Gift Cards may be used in-store by presenting the email confirmation or physical card.
- Multiple Gift Cards can be used in a single transaction.
- If the total purchase exceeds the Gift Card balance, the difference can be paid using any of our accepted payment methods.
Balance & Validity
- Gift Card balances can be checked by contacting our customer support team.
- Gift Cards are valid for 36 months (3 years) from the date of purchase, in line with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.
- Once expired, unused balances cannot be refunded or reactivated.
Refunds & Returns
- Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Items purchased with a Gift Card follow our normal Returns & Exchanges Policy. If a returned item was paid for with a Gift Card, the refund will be issued as store credit or a new Gift Card.
- Lost or stolen Gift Cards cannot be replaced unless proof of purchase is provided, and even then, replacement remains at our discretion.
Restrictions
- Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.
- Gift Cards are non-transferable once linked to a customer account.
- Promotional or complimentary Gift Cards may carry different terms, such as shorter expiry or restricted usage.
